Amazon.com - my lord and master

Half.com - cheap and out of print books.  I sell a lot of stuff here from my endless book and DVD collection.

Alibris.com - Hard to find, used, and out of print books through independent booksellers. If you can't find it anywhere else, almost guaranteed you'll find it here!

Barnes & Noble.com - you can take free writing courses from the Gotham Writers' Workshop through B&N U!

Blackmask.com - FREE copies of great literature in pretty much any digital format you can imagine.

Fellow Authors

My awesome colleagues have their OWN Page - so I can show off their pretty graphics. :)

Writers' Resources

Writersdigest.com - Writers Digest is the industry magazine

Bartleby.com - Every reference book known to humankind.

Babel Fish Translator from Altavista.com

Namegeeks.com - my favorite site for finding character names

Write It Now - the novelwriting software I use.  Very flexible.

The Marshall Plan for Novel Writing - I would never have finished a book if it wasn't for this indespensible guide.

Dell Computers - I'm a faithful Dell girl.

Wikibooks Manual of Crime - Excellent resource for those who might not know alot about crime.

Internet Sacred Text Archives - Pretty much every holy book extant.

Wikipedia - the web's biggest free encyclopedia

Livejournal.com - my favorite of the blog sites.

Some of my Writing Idols/Favorite Authors:

(I never miss a book by any of these folks, and I usually by them in first edition hardback if I can.)

Kim Harrison - A new goddess on the Dark Fantasy front.

Diana Gabaldon (I also adore the fangroup Ladies of Lollybroch) - My favorite romance series and my favorite romance hero EVER.

Laurel K. Hamilton - What can you say about Anita Blake and her men?

Nora Roberts - The Queen.  Her JD Roberts In Death books are among my favorites.

Sherrilyn Kenyon - She speaks to the Buffy/Angel fan in me, and her Dark-Hunter vampires are HAWT.

Susan Sizemore - I love her vampire romances AND action/adventure Dark Fantasies

Rachel Caine - A relative newcomer to my list.  I know her from Buffy/Angel fandom, and her novels are fabulous! I'm especially in love with her new Silhouette Bombshell "Red Letter Days" series.

Angela Knight - brand new to my reality, Angela writes some of the hottest erotica around!

JKRowling - If you don't know who she is, then you probably don't read, watch tv, or see movies, or live on Planet Earth.

Jim Butcher - His Harry Dresden, Wizard series is dark and wonderful

Amanda Ashley - One of the first, and still going!

Maggie Shayne - One of the original vamp romance authors!

Lynn Kurland - One of my favorite historical/time travel authors

Karen Marie Moning - Author of the wonderful Highlander series

Anne Rice - I know for some reason it's become fashionable to dislike her, but she was the writer who turned me on to the vampire genre in the first place, so she's more than earned her place as one of my literary idols.

The fact is, if it has a vampire in it, I'll read it. *G*  Especially when it comes to romance.
